Boxes are stacked floor to ceiling and charts dominate a claustrophobic space introduced as \u2018The Truth Workshop,\u2019 an installation by artists Ward Shelley and Douglas Paulson<\/a> at Pierogi Gallery<\/a>.\u00a0 The artists conceived this drably colored, overwhelmingly crowded room as the place where the secretive powers-that-be concoct what the public will believe to be truth.\u00a0 Stacked boxes labeled \u2018Fake News Homeruns,\u2019 or \u2018Classic Inside Jobs\u2019 house the juicy details of manufactured truths while rows of books with titles like \u2018Trashing the Planet\u2019 offer instruction on nefarious activities.\u00a0 (On view on the Lower East Side through Oct 11th<\/sup>.
