Last weekend\u2019s biggest art opening didn\u2019t take place in a gallery (they\u2019re mostly still closed) but at LaGuardia Airport<\/a>, where four artists including Danish artist Jeppe Hein have installed new work as shiny as Hein\u2019s work at 303 Gallery<\/a> last September (pictured here).\u00a0 Featuring steel balloons affixed to the ceiling and curvy benches designed to encourage \u00a0conversation, Hein\u2019s new installation strikes a celebratory mood that\u2019s a little out of step with current concerns about flying during the pandemic but a worthy gesture of hopefulness for the future.<\/p>\n
