His untitled rendition of a fort in Ghana is more (appropriately) serious, depicting a 17<sup>th<\/sup> century Dutch slave trade outpost. It is one of a series commissioned by late collector and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jackshainman.com\/exhibitions\/24th-street\/\">Jack Shainman Gallery<\/a> co-founder Claude Simard, currently featured at the gallery\u2019s 24<sup>th<\/sup> Street and Kinderhook, NY locations.
