Though it looks like a mini-version of a Doug Wheeler Light & Space installation crossed with a urinal and an abstracted cleavage, this wall indentation (designed by architecture firm Diller, Scofidio & Renfro) is the receptacle for an artwork that is scent alone.\u00a0 It is one of twelve concoctions on display in the Museum of Art & Design<\/a>\u2019s \u2018The Art of Scent\u2019 and is called L\u2019Eau d\u2019Issey after designer Issay Miyake, who commissioned a scent that would suggest water.\u00a0 (Through Feb 24th<\/sup>, 2013).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
