Wearing a cowboy hat, she recalls the mounted \u2018cowboys\u2019 who, before the High Line was built, waved a flag by day and a lantern at night to warn pedestrians of oncoming on-ground train traffic. Positioned on a pedestal recalling a traditional Caddo women\u2019s hair ornament, this warrior strongly asserts her power and heritage.
