The Met Museum\u2019s first exhibition in its Costume Institute<\/a>\u2019s new 12,000 sq ft gallery space pairs 200 garments with 200 artworks to guide visitors into viewing fine art through the lens of fashion.\u00a0 Here, London-based American designer Chet Lo<\/a>\u2019s textured machine-knit fabric \u2013 inspired by the spiky surface of durian fruit \u2013 has been the center of attention at accessible fashion shows organized by London-based company Hair & Care.\u00a0 Two outfits by Lo flank Picasso<\/a>\u2019s 1903 Blue Period canvas featuring a blind man with prominent ear and hands that allude to his ability to navigate the world.\u00a0 (On view on the Upper East Side through Jan 10th<\/sup>, 2027).<\/p>\n
