Though noteworthy galleries have long called the Lower East Side home, the Museum\u2019s move is boosting the neighborhood\u2019s contemporary art cachet in a big way. Uptown galleries <a class=\"style2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.salon94.com\/\">Salon 94<\/a> and <a class=\"style2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gvdgallery.com\/\">Greenberg Van Doren<\/a> have opened satellite spaces just around the corner, while galleries including 31 Grand, <a class=\"style2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.envoygallery.com\/home.html\">Envoy<\/a>, <a class=\"style2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.luxegallery.net\/\">Luxe<\/a> and others have relocated from other parts of town to be part of the burgeoning scene.
