There\u2019s less than a week left to see Marian Goodman Gallery<\/a>\u2019s huge group exhibition in its new Tribeca location, a beautifully renovated 35,000 square foot industrial building from 1875.\u00a0 Just inside the first room, an iteration of Pierre Huyghe\u2019s ongoing \u2018Timekeeper Drill Core\u2019 series involved removing a circular portion of the gallery wall from the old 57th<\/sup> Street location and sanding down a circle at center to reveal the many times the space had been painted in its over forty years uptown.\u00a0 Smartly installed, the show encourages conversations among circular forms in its initial room \u2013 Gabriel Orozco\u2019s bike-wheel sculpture and Nairy Baghramian\u2019s cylindrical abstraction are placed near Huyghe\u2019s piece \u2013 suggesting that the gallery\u2019s current manifestation is the beginning of a new cycle.\u00a0 (On view through Dec 14th<\/sup>).<\/p>\n
