{"id":10286,"date":"2023-06-06T11:00:38","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T15:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newyorkarttours.com\/blog\/?p=10286"},"modified":"2023-06-06T06:51:34","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T10:51:34","slug":"fred-eversley-at-david-kordansky-gallery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newyorkarttours.com\/blog\/2023\/06\/06\/fred-eversley-at-david-kordansky-gallery\/","title":{"rendered":"Fred Eversley at David Kordansky Gallery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a serious car crash in the mid-60s prompted a career shift from aerospace engineering to fine art, West coast Light and Space artist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fredeversley.com\/\">Fred Eversley<\/a> applied his knowledge of materials to the creation of tinted cast sculptures like those now on view at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidkordanskygallery.com\/exhibitions\/fred-eversley5\">David Kordansky Gallery<\/a> in Chelsea.\u00a0 As a kid in his father\u2019s basement lab, Eversley recreated Galileo\u2019s experiments in making parabolic shapes;
