Known for his sobering photographic visions of modern Africa (including his reknowned hyena keeping minstel series), South African photographer Pieter Hugo’s new photo series ‘Kin’ brings him closer to home as he depicts South African citizens whose lives have been marked by the legacy of Apartheid.
